We will make a stop in the charming village of Undredal, with a population of 80 people and 300 goats and famous for their locally-produced goat cheese. We start the day with The Flåmsbana Railway, one of the world’s most spectacular train journeys. Flåmsbana is one of the steepest railway lines in the world, offering panoramic views over some of the most magnificent scenery Norway’s fjord landscape has to offer from sea level to 865 m above.

Back in Flåm we continue to Balestrand by bus. Balestrand is perhaps the best-known landmark on the Sognefjord, the world’s longest fjord. We check-in at Kviknes Hotel, a modern hotel with soul and atmosphere which has a tradition of hospitality stretching back to 1752. Upon arrival our hosts will share the exciting history of the building – a stay at Kviknes is like stepping into a Norwegian fairytale. We go for a cultural walk in the picturesque village where renowned artists like Hans Gude have captivated the scenery. We explore the village and the local Cider House, situated in idyllic surroundings in an orchard.
