In accordance with the Working Environment Act, Tide has established a secure whistleblowing service provided by a third party, mittvarsel.no, where employees and external stakeholders can report concerns related to the working environment, human and labour rights, and risk.
From the Working Environment Act:
Section 2 A-1. Right to report misconduct in the undertaking
Employees have the right to report misconduct in the employer’s undertaking. Hired-in workers also have the right to report misconduct in the undertaking of the hiring entity.
Misconduct refers to circumstances that are in breach of legislation, written ethical guidelines in the undertaking, or ethical norms that have broad support in society. This may include, for example, circumstances that involve:
danger to life or health
danger to the climate or the environment
corruption or other financial crime
abuse of authority
an unsound working environment
breaches of personal data security
Expressions concerning matters that relate solely to the employee’s own employment relationship are not considered whistleblowing under this chapter, unless the matter is covered by the second paragraph.
