Experience Senja under the midnight sun

Publisert 07.10.2026 | Oppdatert 12.10.2026

Midnight sun, mountains plunging into the sea and the whole group together. Hire a bus with a driver to Senja and experience the night that never gets dark.

Senja is Norway’s second-largest island and is often called “Norway in miniature”. Here, jagged peaks rise straight out of the sea, and small fishing villages sit between white sandy beaches. From late May to late July the sun never sets, and the bright nights give the landscape a light that’s hard to describe. You have to see it for yourself.

A trip you’ll remember

The National Tourist Route Senja runs along the island’s outer coast and is one of the most spectacular drives in the country. Viewpoints such as Bergsbotn and Tungeneset are perfect places to stretch your legs and watch the sun hang low over the sea in the middle of the night.

With your own bus, the whole group can sit together and enjoy the views while the driver handles the narrow, winding roads. The trip is ideal for company outings, conferences, sports teams, groups of friends and anyone who wants to experience the Arctic summer night together.
