All companies within the Tide Group shall conduct their operations in compliance with applicable laws and with a high ethical standard. This means that it is always Tide AS’s policy to comply with current laws and regulations, including internationally recognised conventions on human rights and decent working conditions.
The Tide Group has its own Code of Conduct, which, together with the human rights policy, applies to all employees, board members, managers, hired personnel, consultants, company representatives and anyone performing work on behalf of or otherwise representing the company. Respect is one of Tide’s five core values, and everyone representing the company shall treat people who work for us, as well as those affected by our business activities, in a fair and non discriminatory manner.
Tide is a company characterised by diversity, and no one at Tide shall be discriminated against on the basis of gender, age, ethnic origin, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, political views or similar factors. Tide cooperates with stakeholders in the public transport sector, public authorities, private actors and suppliers of buses and infrastructure, and requires that all partners, suppliers and customers ensure that human rights are respected. Under no circumstances shall child labour, forced labour, slavery or involuntary labour occur within Tide or among the company’s suppliers, customers or business partners.
Tide carries out due diligence assessments to identify the risk that its operations, products or services cause or contribute to human rights violations. The same applies to assessments related to suppliers, customers and business partners. If Tide identifies that it has caused, or that a supplier or customer has caused or contributed to, human rights violations, dialogue shall be initiated and follow up measures implemented. Tide will seek to prevent or reduce harm through influence and action plans, either by the company itself or in cooperation with the relevant supplier or customer.
A strong foundation for a healthy organisational culture at Tide is openness and respect, and Tide values those who speak up if they observe or experience something that is not in line with our human rights policy. If reporting does not take place through the normal line organisation, any breaches of the guidelines or other concerns can also be reported through Tide’s confidential and anonymous whistleblowing service, Mittvarsel.no / Mittvarsel.dk.
